The Munchies Aligner Adjustment Tool is a finely tuned medical grade stainless steel file that allows patients to trim the offending overextension or peripheral roughness on their aligner or retainer.
Many aligners can cause soft tissue irritation that are painful to patients. Most instances are due to overextension onto the gingiva or improperly finished aligner periphery.
One side of the tool offers more aggressive removal of the aligner plastic whilst the other side polishes to a level of comfort as required.
These tools are ideal to deliver at the commencement of treatment, in tandem with the Munchies Aligner Brush and Bilingual Aligner removal tool (BART).
